Kigali Youth Trained on Digital Identity
More than 410 youth representatives from the three districts of the City of Kigali gathered at Kagarama Secondary School for a training and discussion on the role of young people in improving government services through technology.
The focus was on digital identity, where participants learned how it works and why it is important. The youth were encouraged to be role models in their communities by sharing this knowledge and helping other young people understand the benefits of using digital identity.
This initiative aims to empower youth to take part in Rwanda’s digital transformation and to support better access to government services.
