On 14 November 2025, NIDA participated in the Hanga Pitch Fest 2025 at BK Arena. The event, organized by the Ministry of ICT and Innovation, brings together institutions and innovators to showcase solutions that support Rwanda’s digital transformation.

During the exhibition, NIDA introduced the Digital ID, explaining how it works, why it is important, and how it will help citizens access services more easily. NIDA worked closely with Irembo through the Byikorere initiative at a shared booth, where visitors were able to ask questions and receive hands-on demonstrations.

NIDA also provided onsite registration services for the Digital ID. By the end of the day, 21 people were enrolled, 34 were pre-enrolled, and 10 applications were pending.

Our participation in the expo created an important platform to reach young people and familiarize them with the Digital ID.
