At Expo 2025 in Gikondo, the National Identification Agency (NIDA) launched the new Digital ID (e-ID). This new ID will help improve service delivery and make it easier for citizens to access different services.

During the event, NIDA also explained to people the advantages of the Digital ID, such as more security and faster services.

The launch of the Digital ID is a big step in Rwanda’s move to digital services.
