REQUIREMENT FOR FIRST ISSUANCE

The Rwandan identity card is issued to a 16-year-old Rwandan, registered in NIDA database (NPR).

Required:

- Having an application number (code)

- A document proving her/his identification (school card, insurance card or certificate issued by the Sector (full identity certificate, identity card)).

When can a citizen take his ID after being taken biometric data?

IDs are completed in 30 days and are sent the sector of residence, where the applicant can go and recuperate his/her ID.
