THE BASIC DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ID CORRECTION/ENGLISH

1. A copy of the birth record made within 15 days of the notary's signature when it was made before 28/08/2016 or a copy made within 30 days of the date of birth. date of birth notarized when made after 28/08/2016;

2. A copy of the passport issued in Rwanda prior to the 2007 registration (passport or Laissez-passer);

3. A copy of DGIE document issued in Rwanda prior to the 2007 registration (passport or Laissez-passer);

ID correction service is provided in the Sector where the applicant resides with one of the above documents, and a receipt of 1500Frw.

Note:

- The document contains the requirements for the correction of the identity card in detail, which can be found on attachment or in the nearest Sector.

- Once the identity card is completed, it will be sent to the Sector of your choice if you requested it through Irembo, or at your sector of residence;
